Experience
Optimal was founded by and today is managed by a team of seasoned medical veterans. Our founder, Dr. Neal Templeton, is a former President of the American Academy of Radiology.

Quality and Peer Review Programs
As the national leader in radiology optimization services, Optimal is dedicated to delivering the highest quality patient care. Our Quality Assurance program is designed to meet the quality standards set forth by the American College of Radiology and Joint Commission.
The Peer Review process consists of a sampling of selected studies electronically transmitted to two different Optimal radiologists who read the study. Interpretations are compared for clinical variance and the results of the comparison are documented. If a discrepancy exists between the two interpretations, the study is reviewed by the Senior Medical Director. If at any time an ordering physician requests a second interpretation by an Optimal radiologist, the exam can be resubmitted for a reread at no charge.

Technology Services
Optimal uses state-of-the-art technology to provide for off-site interpretation needs. We implemented a McKesson PACS and RIS system that allows us to deliver prompt, professional interpretation results.
